Travel information

Stroud Green Primary School enjoys excellent transport links into central London and further afield.

We are a 5-minute walk to Finsbury Park Underground station (Victoria and Piccadilly lines), and Finsbury Park rail and bus stations.

Three bus routes (W3, W7 and the 210) run along Stroud Green Road, linking directly to Archway, Muswell Hill, Crouch End and Golders Green.

There is a limited number of parking bays for visitors in Perth Road. Please note though, the public are not permitted to pay to park in the bays until after 10am. One disabled space is available opposite the school.

Active travel

We promote active travel at our school and have been awarded Gold Accreditation for our STARS Travel Plan for the last 3 consecutive years. We encourage families to walk and cycle to and from school wherever possible. In 2016, our children took part in the Stroud Green Air Quality Project. The children have mapped a 5 and 10 minute walking zone around the school.

There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations.

If you really do need to travel by car, please consider parking a few streets away and walking the last part of the journey to minimise congestion. If you do park outside the school, please park wisely and do not park outside the main school entrances.

We currently have a covered bike shed in he Key Stage 2 playground (accessible from Hideaway). We are currently seeking funding for additional bike and scooter storage for the Key Stage 1 playground - bikes can be stored temporarily in the designated area near the Nursery gate.
